- In order to reduce the traffic in the road, China has launched a new type of bus under
which a car can travel and it’s called a Transit Elevated Bus. - But, it has some disadvantages like, it weighs a lot and causes frequent accidents.
- We are going to launch a new type of transit elevated bus which is modified from the
existing transit elevated bus developed by China as it won’t have passage space at
the bottom for other vehicles and it can carry one thousand two hundred people at
the same time. - This doesn’t lead to much expenditure and it also runs on electricity and has a capacity of more than fifteen buses. This mode of transport connects the major cities and helps people a lot.
- The specifications are as follows
- Length: 22 meters
- Width: 7.8 meters
- Height: 4.5 meters
- Capacity: 1200 (4,00,000, passengers daily within 40km distance)
- Speed: 40 to 60km/hr
- This transit elevated bus also reduces carbon emission and pollution.
- Height will be similar to a normal bus, but, the length and width are extended to give
the bus the capacity of holding many passengers. - In the current situation, we can’t launch transit elevated bus in our country since road
facilities are not upto the level. - But, our super highway is a single stretch of straight road with no turns, no ups and
downs and also withhigh standard roads with electrical lane facilities for the buses
to run with electricity. - People can travel in this without any rush among the crowd and they will also
have facilities like air conditioning, sophisticated facility to lie down and rest while
travelling for a long distance, television, monition and earphone options like how we
have in fights, wash rooms and so on. - It also earns a lot of profit for the government.
